Happy Easter

Emma woke up early this morning, in anticipation of the Easter Bunny leaving some special treats for her during the night.  She was a good egg hunter again this year, and enjoyed a very large loot of candy....which we are now giving her a ration which will hopefully last until Halloween!

Fast friends

It took mere minutes before these two were holding hands at a lovely Easter dinner at the Davidson's.

Emma got her craft on today when we decorated some eggs for Easter.  The rainbow eggs turned out quite nice!  Addie spent some time with her "friends" on her play mat while the decorating took place.

Booty time

Addie rather enjoys her diaper-free booty time.  She might be crying, but as soon as you lay her down in her crib, take off her diaper, and turn on the dancing animal mobile...she is one happy camper.  She can entertain herself for at least 10 minutes watching the mobile, and listening to the tune it plays!

Afterschool cuddle time

Addie's 5 weeks now, and Emma is still asking to hold Addie when she gets home from school.  These sisters love each other that's for sure!

Three weeks old today, and this little cutie couldn't be happier!  She's a very happy baby!

All I want for my birthday...my lil' sis!

Emma has been wanting a sibling for quite some time...and now that Addie has arrived, she couldn't be a more proud big sister!  She asks to hold Addie all the time, and gives her lots of kisses and hugs.

Happy 5th Birthday Emma!

Emma celebrated her 5th birthday with a super-hero party at our house.  She soaked in all the attention from her family and friends while playing party games, taking some swings at the pinata, and of course, indulging in a little cake and ice cream.  She was particularly psyched about the HULK cake that dad designed and decorated for her.  Our little "super-girl" is growing up fast!

Grammy and Grampy's visit

Grammy and Grampy came all the way from Ft. Meyers Florida to visit, and meet their newest grand daughter.  The girls were both sleeping when they arrived late last night, but Emma woke up early this morning to greet them!

2 week visit

Addie had her two week visit to the doctor today.  She weighed in at a whopping 8 # 14 ounces.  Yep, she gained 1 1/2 pounds in 2 weeks!  She's a crazy good eater.  After her appointment, Emma "babysat" while Addie entertained herself on her play mat.
