We headed up to Mt Adams for our final camping trip of the summer. We had a swell time checking out the natural bridges, ice cave, and of course huckleberry picking. We got to take in this beautiful view of Mt Adams on our drive home too!
Emma has been taking her scoot bike out for a spin every evening. She is getting pretty good, and tells us that when she turns 4, she's going to get a bike with pedals!
Emma completed her summer reading program at the library, and earned a pass to Oaks Park. She had lots of fun riding the carousel, but her favorite new ride was "Big Pink", the very tall, very fast slide! Emma was joined by her pal Elias for a fun day at the park!
Emma had lots of fun watching daddy in his "race car". Daddy had lots of fun too!
Our second camping trip of the season was yet another wonderful outing with the Meyer family. We were blessed with sun and warm weather during this years camping trip to Mt Hood. This years campfire festivities included an impromptu two man band of Ken on bass/acoustic guitar, and John on a rubbermaid trap set, with homemade twig drum sticks. They sounded really great--for real!
Emma joined her pals, Cash and Henry, for the bike parade at Fremont Fest this year. Emma had a blast, especially since the bike parade was followed by jumping in a bouncy house with her friends. It just doesn't get much better than that.
