'official' due date

today was sarah's 'official' due date.  No baby to report as of yet.  Sarah is feeling fine and is continuing to go to work every day.  We both are more and more convinced that babyd is hanging on till leap year.  good for you kiddo, although you are gonna have to share your birthday with your mama 3 out of 4 years...

no news yet- just over a week to go before the baby is due.  sarah went to the doctor yesterday and everything seems to be going smoothly.  in the words of the doctor, baby could come tomorrow or baby could come in two weeks...  This weekend will be a big push to clean the house and do some last minute shopping and organizing.

just passed my LEED accreditation exam this morning.  Huge relief to get that out of the way, now I've got all my free time to focus on last minute baby items.  Just over 2 weeks and counting...

Tues: Feb 5th

had my first experience in the american judicial system.  yup, got called into jury duty and I can honestly say that I feel good about doing my civic duty.  Actually I was really looking forward to having the whole day to study for my upcoming LEED exam.  I finally got called up to sit on a trial at around 11:00 AM, but alas, was not selected for the final jury.  maybe next time...
